Fieldwork Opportunities
We are proud to support the next generation of therapy professionals by welcoming fieldwork students and partnering with universities to provide meaningful hands-on clinical experiences. Our team is committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students can observe, participate, and build practical skills while gaining valuable insight into pediatric therapy.
OUTPATIENT EXPERIENCES
Speech Therapy Rotations
Gain hands-on experience in a pediatric outpatient setting while working alongside experienced speech-language pathologists. Students will have opportunities to observe and participate in therapy sessions, learn about a variety of communication needs, and develop practical clinical skills.
Clinical Fellowship- 9 mo.
Our Clinical Fellowship experience provides new speech-language pathologists with mentorship and support as they transition into professional practice. Fellows will build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and gain experience working with children and families in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Occupational Therapy Fieldwork
We welcome OT students completing both Level I and Level II fieldwork experiences. Students will gain valuable exposure to pediatric occupational therapy, including evaluation, intervention, treatment planning, and collaboration with families and other therapy professionals.
Physical Therapy Experiences
We welcome physical therapy students looking to complete their terminal clinical rotation in a pediatric setting. Students will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced physical therapists, gain hands-on clinical experience, and develop their skills in pediatric evaluation, intervention, and family-centered care.
School-Based Experiences
Through SkyBound, students have the opportunity to gain experience in a school-based setting while working alongside experienced therapy professionals. Students will learn about school-based service delivery, collaboration with educators and families, and supporting students within the educational environment. This experience provides valuable insight into the role of therapy in schools and the importance of a collaborative, student-centered approach
Early Intervention Experiences
Early Intervention – Birth to 3
Through Early Bird Therapy, students have the opportunity to work with and shadow therapists providing early intervention services to children from birth to age 3. Students will gain insight into family-centered care, developmentally appropriate intervention, and the unique experience of providing therapy within a child’s natural environment. This experience offers valuable exposure to the coaching model and the collaborative nature of early intervention services.
