School-Based Experiences

See how therapy makes a difference in the classroom and beyond.

Through Skybound Pediatric Therapy, students gain experience supporting children within their educational environments. Work alongside experienced therapists to understand how occupational, physical, and speech therapy support students' participation, independence, and success at school. Students learn about school-based service delivery, collaboration with teachers and other professionals, and how to develop practical strategies that help children access and participate in their educational experience.

Early Intervention (Birth-3) Experiences

Make a difference during the most important years of development.

Through Early Bird Therapy, students gain experience working with children from birth to age three and their families in natural environments, including the home and community. Learn how early intervention supports developmental milestones, builds foundational skills, and empowers caregivers to support their child's progress throughout everyday routines. Students gain insight into family-centered care, developmental coaching, and the collaborative approach that makes early intervention unique.

Outpatient Experiences

Learn, collaborate, and grow in a dynamic pediatric clinic.

Gain hands-on experience at Growing in Motion working alongside experienced occupational, physical, and speech therapists in our outpatient clinics. Students have opportunities to observe and participate in evaluations and treatment sessions, explore a variety of therapeutic approaches, and learn how play, relationships, and individualized care help children build skills and reach their potential. Our collaborative environment encourages curiosity, clinical reasoning, and the development of confident, well-rounded clinicians.
